This privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”) provides details regarding the data processing activities during the usage of HERE WeGo Pro (“WeGoPro“) mobile application. WeGoPro represents an extension of HERE WeGo application that introduces paid features designed for its commercial customers, specifically delivery companies, hereby referred to as HERE Customer.

Data Controller and Data Processor

HERE Customer acts as a data controller for the purpose of Service Provisioning and Account Management towards the data subjects – drivers (“End User”).

Provider, HERE Global B.V., with registered office at Kennedyplein 222, 5611 ZT Eindhoven, he Netherlands (“HERE“) acts as the data processor for the purpose of Service provisioning and Account management where the Customer acts as a controller.

Provider acts as a controller for the purpose of Improvement of HERE Product and Services, specifically in case of Data contribution for HERE Network positioning. The data are collected in aggregated and anonymous form. For more information, please click here.

International transfers of personal data

Our products and services may be provided using resources and servers located in various countries around the world. Therefore, your personal data may be transferred across international borders outside the country where you use our services, including to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), or the United Kingdom, that do not have laws providing specific protection for personal data or that have different legal rules on data protection, for example, the United States of America. In such cases we ensure that there is a legal basis for such a transfer and that adequate protection for your personal data is provided as required by applicable law, for example, by using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or relevant authorities (where necessary) and by requiring the use of other appropriate technical and organizational information security measures. 

Automated decision making and profiling  

The Provider does not conduct automated decision making and/or profiling of the end user.

To exercise your privacy rights as a data subject for the purpose of Service Provisioning and Account Management please contact the personal data controller as per the table above. As stated above, HERE does not have a capability to identify you personally based on the provided data set in case of the purpose of improvement of the product and Service.

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our data processing activities or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on our website and, if necessary, communicate directly to the individuals affected.
